Marketing and promotion is the key to a successful business. To what extent do you agree?

The current competitive landscape has triggered many business owners to explore into investing in marketing and promotion for their products or services. Today’s business environment is getting stiffer and in order for the business to thrive they have to implement excellent marketing strategy. This paper highly agrees the importance of advertising campaigns in achieving success in business.

To achieve long-term success in business, executing an effective brand image is one of the first steps to concentrate on. A company that focuses on implementing exceptional marketing approaches is bound to reap significant benefits. Take hospitality industry as example, the hotel business is highly competitive as there are many well-established hotels everywhere. However, if owners know how to recognize distinctive brand identity, the property will become unique and customer will come and stay. Advertising and promotion can give the company with an effective communication tool to relay messages and attract customers. 

On the other hand, marketing and promotion involves large amount of money especially if the advertisements are carried in conventional media like print, radio, and television. The traditional media advertisements are costly and most of the time it reach to wrong audience. Nevertheless, marketing and promotional campaigns can help brands stand out from the competition which will lead to increase audience base and potentially turns them into loyal customers.  Therefore, these two components of marketing management are vital in influencing consumer behavior, increasing sales and profits. 

 In conclusion, the above discussion has brought out the importance of marketing and promotion in achieving success in business. Although advertising mediums charge exorbitant rates but the impact is far-reaching. I strongly agree that these marketing tools play significant role in the success of every company.
