IELTS Essay Question:
Some people agree that advertisements are useful for TV viewers, while others disagree.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Television advertising has been a known medium for small and medium-sized businesses, as it reached a broad-spectrum of viewers that capture its market share. While others felt the importance of TV commercials, there are also people doubted the effectiveness of this medium. In the course of this essay, I will explore both viewpoints and give my explanation of why I believe that this kind of advertisements can improved viewers’ product and services awareness.
In this busy, expensive life, television is indisputably an easy and reasonable source of information. Some claim that TV advertising demonstrated an awesome impacts to businesses. Firstly, TV audiences can learn about product, services offered and community events. Because our society keeps on produces goods and services, television became the key promotional medium. Secondly, advertisement is increasingly morphing into another form of entertainment. Companies discovered the effectiveness of showing relatable scene that can catch the emotions of viewers. Clearly, most consumers nowadays made their purchases decision based on advertisements seen on TV.
On the contrary, a central consumer concern is the effect of advertising cost to the product. Like all other corporate business activities, there must be someone in the buying chain to shoulder the cost. Product prices for instance, prices of goods and services tend to go up because the cost must be passed on to the to the buying public. However, additional cost though expensive, but nonetheless product awareness seems favorable to the consumer. Through information-drive, manufacturer can introduce the product to a wider audience, such as, people who are living in far-flung and remote areas. Thus, TV viewers will have a chance to see new products and their diverse uses.
To summarize, television advertisement is an expensive medium but it is effective tool in reaching huge audiences. I think, TV commercial is a helpful medium in delivering information of a new product and services to the public knowledge. Therefore, I agree that TV viewers indirectly benefited on advertisements.

What more can I say. Maybe I just want to add my observation to some advertisement to choose the words to be used and the whole presentation to consider the innocense of children that watches . Make it wholesome and be careful. Not only the kids but persons that are conservative also.
